Muzzy's omission from the team today immediately meant lots of speculation and rumours about his future yet again.

Despite him announcing this week he was staying at Leicester until at least the end of the season, and discussing his contract nearer then, as soon as people saw he wasn't playing today they put 2 and 2 together and got... Tottenham.

Apparently the rumour started from a steward who told someone the deal was already done to take Muzzy to Spurs. For £2m.

The net has continued with other confirmations of this with a mate of someone in the Spurs shop saying they've been told to get Izzet shirts ready.

Let's look at the evidence...

1. Muzzy announced this week he was staying at Leicester until the end of the season to help us stay up.

2. Muzzy has never been anything less than honourable and honest and loyal to the club, and is not daft (ie turning down move to boro).

3. Micky said "Muzzy has got an Achilles problem so we have to be very careful with that. They can be tricky things. We will assess him and I am hopeful that he will be fit for Wednesday"."

4. Spurs haven't got a manager and are rubbish.

Think we'll put our money on him staying...
