The Telegraph is reporting that Stan Collymore is set to become manager at Southend...with Steve Walsh as his number 2!

It says that Collymore, 33, could be appointed as early as next Wednesday following a week of secret talks with the Third Division club, and that former Leicester team-mate Steve Walsh will be named as Collymore's No 2.

It'll be a tough job for two inexperienced managers...Southend lost 4-0 at Yeovil on Saturday and are 23rd in the Third Division.
