Freddie Kanoute’s agent Willie McKay has been speaking to the press about Muzzy's challenge on Freddie Kanoute, which has left the Spurs player with damaged ankle ligaments and out for up to 2 months.

McKay told The Sun newspaper

"I'm disgusted. I'll be surprised if the FA does not get involved. Freddie was past him and he took him out."

The FA intend to wait for the referees report before deciding on whether any action is to be taken. Izzet was booked for the late tackle.
