Despite it being announced yesterday that Micky Adams has lined up a Prem midfielder and striker to come in on loan as soon as administration is lifted...will the Football League let us?

Adams said:

'The Football League are still blocking our attempts to sign players but I am led to believe that but for a few legal documents that need to be signed we are out of administration - so I really don't see what the objection is.

'We are working behind the scenes to bring in a couple of players and we are just waiting for the green light now.

'Everything is settled with the clubs and the players involved. We have got a couple of targets from Premiership clubs, one is a forward and one is a midfield player.'

Adams told the official website that the striker wasn't Huckerby though, despite recent rumours.

'Darren is a good player with a proven track record in the First Division - but he is rather expensive.'

FFS is led to believe that the Football League will not lift the transfer embargo for City though. Micky would not be impressed. We shall wait and see...
