Leicester have been linked with Aberdeen striker Robbie Winters.

The out of contract 27 year-old has seen talks with Luton Town collapse after failure to reach agreement on wage demands.

Luton boss Joe Kinnear said:

"Robbie seemed desperate to come down and play but he wants a package that is out of reach."

Winters is believed to be asking for £4,000-a-week and his failure to agree terms with Luton has alerted other clubs including Leicester to his availablility
