Dean Sturridge, who has scored 13 goals in 16 games for his new team Wolves, has had a few words to say about Dave Bassett, none of them complimentary!

Deano is quoted as saying that:

"Dave Bassett didn't talk to me and it was only a matter of time before I left the building.

"I think he only said about ten words to me in two weeks."

Sturridge thought he should have been worth £3.5m rather than £350k and also says,

"I honestly believe that if they took me back tomorrow I could keep them up. Mind you, if Bassett rang, I don't think I would answer the phone."
