Rogers recovering, Stewart going for op at last (13/02/02)

Alan Rogers had a successful operation on Monday on his knee, after having recurring problems with his cartilage.

City boss, Dave Bassett said:
"Alan has felt discomfort for some time and when we sent him for some X-rays they showed up a problem. He will be out for between three and six weeks."

Meanwhile, Jordan Stewart, who put off an operation on his shoulder last week to play against Spurs, will know later this week if the operation has been successful. He could be out for 6-8 weeks recovering from it.
