All hell broke loose last night at the Dave Bassett and Mickey Adams Q & A session at Filbert Street - over Matt Jones.

When talking about overpriced players and unsuitable contracts that have been given to players by Taylor, Bassett said,

"And there's Matthew Jones. At least when Dick Turpin mugged you he wore a mask".

The audience erupted, and got very heated with one guy shouting "that's all b-ll-cks" a few times.

Mickey Adams apparently got quite angry and said

"Look, we're not here to bullsh-t you".

Said that Jonesy is carrying half a stone too much and that,

"If he scores and takes his shirt off like Ade, then we'll see if all you ladies still fancy him!"

Bassett mentioned that Jonesy often doesn't listen to the job he's given, for example, in the away game at Bolton he was sent on "to mark the midfield lad" and he just kept running past him.

Are the gaffers being really unfair to Matty who was stuffed up with injuries and stuffed up by Taylor? Or are they doing it to get the best out of him? MON always used to slag Sav off to gee him up.

Is Matty a bit overweight and a bit daft? Even if he is, is he still better than half the donkeys we've got?
