City announced today that Arnar Gunnlaugsson, who continually gets described as a striker by the media for some reason, was going to Sheffield Utd on loan.

That was until he failed his medical!

The transfer listed striker (Don't you start - Ed) aint going anywhere for now, and some websites have said it is a stomach problem he failed with.

Speaking to the Sheff Utd website Arnie said,

"Because of my limited opportunities at Leicester, I jumped at the chance to join United after Neil Warnock phoned me on Tuesday.

"Like all footballers, I want to play and I've not had a lot of games recently. I'd be lying if I said I am 100 per cent fit, but you can only get that with games and hopefully I will get better opportunities here.

"I've been unlucky at Leicester with four operations in three years and it hasn't been my best time. I'm here to play as many games as possible."

Well he was right about not being 100% fit. Get well soon Arnie...we neeed the money!
