Those keen eyed City fans who like a few quid on the horses now and then would know that a horse called Basset was running today.

Basset turned out at the 2.20 race at Lingfield with the following recommendation...

"Just a glimmer of ability including over course and distance, lot to prove but more lightly raced than most"

Unfortunately he apparently trailed in 15th out of 16 horses.

And even more ironic, the winning jockey was called O'Neill...
