City Captain Matt Elliott has spent the night in hospital with a leg infection.

The big defender missed the Saints game due to the infection and was kept in hospital as a precaution.

Matty has now been told to rest his leg for 48 hours and the club doc will look at it again on Monday. Looks likely he'll be doubtful for the Leeds game next week if it hasn't cleared up early next week.
