The Northampton Chronicle and Echo were not impressed with the visit of Robbie Savage last night for City's 2-1 win over the Cobblers!

Sports reporter, Jeremy Casey called him irritating, a whinger, a whiner and a kicker!

Here's what the Chron had to say...

"The Cobblers proceeded to turn in their best 45 minutes of a troubled pre-season campaign, score an absolute peach of a goal through the lively Forrester, and rattle the Foxes so much that manager Peter Taylor was forced to withdraw the irritatting (sic) Wales international Robbie Savage from the action before he completely lost his cool."

"A crude challenge by Frank Sinclair minutes later on Gabbiadini then sparked a furious spell of play with Savage - who had kicked, whinged and whined his way through the game - and Dennis Wise, shall we say, showing their darker side."
