Latest link to a striker for City is to Ranger's Marcus Gayle, according to today's News of the World.

City have been mentioned before in connection to the 30 year old former Womble. The paper suggests Rangers would only be asking £1.2m.

Retired from Jamaican international football, Marcus is good in the air and can defend corners well too, but readily admits that he will set up more than he can score.
