Damien Delaney, the youngster Taylor signed from Cork, made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland's U-21s this week, in their 3-0 win over Estonia, aged only 19.

Expected to have been one for the future, Delaney has already played a few times for Leicester during the injury crisis and was superb.

Signed from Cork City for a piddling £50,000 it looks like Damien has a bright future ahead indeed.
