According to various news sources Peter Taylor is about to add a player to his squad. Although he is staying tight lipped about it.

Every since the Mancini incident when the News Of The World got word that City were set to sign Mancini on loan Taylor has been very careful who he talks to.

Speculation though points to another Leeds midfielder. This time Jason Wilcox although Midasoccer reports that it will be someone else completely. Names that have been linked so far are Les Ferdinand, although that is more of a summer rumour and Wigans Roy Carroll.

The rumour mongrels insist that a deal for Carroll has already been done, but again this is supposed to be a summer signing.

Taylor though is still saying nothing of who it will be and would only say, "We are talking to somebody at the moment.

“We are quite hopeful of bringing in a new face and have sufficient funds to do that.

“The injuries to Robbie Savage, Muzzy Izzet, Gerry Taggart and Callum Davidson have left us a bit stretched.

“We’ve suffered recently and, while the players that have stepped in have done a good job, they lack experience at this level.”

Whoever it is it looks like we could know by the end of tomorrow.
