Rob Kelly has been sacked by Leicester City after a poor run of results has left the club just five points clear of the relegation zone. Assistant Mike Stowell has also been sacked.
Former Norwich manager Nigel Worthington has been put in charge until the end of the season, with Doug Livermore as his assistant.
Chairman Milan Mandaric introduced Worthington at a 1PM press conference at the Walkers Stadium.
Mandaric said the defeat at Plymouth was the final straw. He didn't expect to have to change the manager at this time. When asked if he wanted to be in charge of the club next season, Worthington said "only a fool wouldn't want to be in charge of this football club". He added that he's looking forward to the challenge ahead, and will give everything he's got. Click here to discuss this on our forum
