The first day of pre-season training at Belvoir drive saw yet more departures from Leicester City...

Three members of Ian Holloway's backroom staff left the club. Des Bulpin, Tim Breaker and Gary Penrice have left "by mutual consent".

There has been a further departure on the playing side. Left back Alan Sheehan has joined Leeds United, where he spent much of last season on loan.This follows the departures in June of Gareth McAuley, Iain Hume and Richard Stearman.

The end of June also marked the official departures of several other players who were not offered new contracts. These players include Elvis Hammond, Alan Maybury, Rab Douglas and Jamie Clapham.
