Rob Kelly will once again be forced to make changes to the Leicester team for tonight's match against in form Stoke City.
Gareth McAuley is suspended for the match following his red card at Loftus road on Saturday, Patrick McCarthy is expected to return to the team in his place.
James Wesolowski and Alan Maybury picked up injuries against QPR and look likely to miss the match.
Andy Johnson and Stephen Hughes both trained yesterday and could come into contention. Matty Fryatt made a return to action from the bench on Saturday and he could be in contention for a starting place.
With news of possible investment into the club and a recent improvement on the pitch, fans are optimistic that the team can mount a serious push for promotion in the second half of the season. The team is currently 16th in the table, which on the face of it appears to be well off the pace, but a win tonight and another on Saturday could see the team within striking distance of the play-off places.
Leicester are unbeaten in the last seven league matches - but five of those games have ended in draws. Things can change quickly though, with most of the teams in the division unable to put together a consistent run of results. The gap between West Brom in third place and Norwich in 18th is only seven points, illustrating what a close division this is at the moment.
Stoke are one place above Leicester in the Championship table on goal difference, and they come into the match having won three of their last four, the last being a 5-0 thrashing of Norwich. The key to their recent improvement seems to be the signing of Lee Hendrie on loan from Aston Villa. It's a quick return to the Walkers Stadium for Hendrie - he was spotted in the away end last Tuesday.
